the provenance of the buckle from the cernuschi museum is ambiguous: before giving it to him, r. Ghirshman published it indicating that this piece "probably comes from the necropolises of koban, but was found in a tomb in luristan". Dimensions - artwork:

description:
the rectangular bronze belt buckle is decorated with an iron inlay representing a snake. The space around snake is filled with finely engraved “s” shaped spirals. On the edge, the buckle is pierced with 14 holes which were used to attach it to the bronze or leather belt. On the reverse, it has a hook on the opposite side. Mode of acquisition: purchase
