The presentation in the temple: in the centre, the virgin, kneeling on the steps inside the temple, hands the christ child to simeon; to left, an altar surrounded by the priest's attendants, some holding books, others candles; to right, a group of women and children form a semi-circle around the bottom of the steps; within ornamental frame.
