833. Cross - fresco image on one of the walls in the church "st. Nicholas" in the bachkovo monastery; on the (holy) wine cellar of st. Nicholas, painted in black. Tempera paints on plaster of lime and chaff. The cross is four-winged; its side wings are the smallest, the upper one is longer, the lower one is long; they all end with a bracket, open outwards, its ends square. At the intersection of the wings, a st. Andrew's cross is painted with ocher. The fresco was written by zacharia hristov from samokov in 1840. Copied from the original in natural size on 9.
