Quay completed in 1611, absorbing the islet of gourdaine (card07913). Under henri iv, a. De harlay, president of parliament, had a triangle of stone and brick houses built on the pointe courtyard in 1607. On the pont-neuf (1578-1607) in the 19th century, see card005820, view of 1840 with the shops designed by the architect soufflot. Shops on the clock side disappeared in 1815-16.
