The royal navy frigate hms thisbe being struck by lightning. Original caption, as follows: representation of the uncommon situation of his majesty’s ship thisbe commanded by captn. Geo robertson when in a very heavy gale of wind accompanied by hail, rain and snow with her sails wet and closely furled and without spindles of any sort at the mastheads.
