The personification of la caricature as a jester in his studio with props representing various politicians, including d'argout (as a nude male model), lameth, schonen and keratry (as sculpted busts on a shelf; they reproduce busts by daumier), thiers (as a small sculpted figure wearing a large napoleonic hat), soult (as the skeleton of an officer), talleyrand (as a figure wrapped in an toga and swearing an oath); louis philippe is seen sitting on a stool and posing for the satiricist; from "la caricature", no. 210 (plate 438). 1834 lithograph.
