Description monument in memory of the popular spirit in the years 1830 and 1831, a few days after the unveiling on august 27, 1856
due to persistent rain, photography was not possible at the time of the unveiling itself. Deutmann's recording served as a model for a lithograph by c. C. A. Last that appeared as an appendix to the literary magazine de tijd of september 1856. The monument soon acquired the nickname naatje. Salt print, 170x223 mm on sheet of 268x318 mm.
