285. Gravestone with a cross in the cemetery of the town. Shumen, carried from the yard of the old church. Prismatic block with cornices and profiled roof; at its base a niche for a lamp; buried straight - without plinth, in the ground. Carved out of white hard limestone in 1874. On one of its walls, a cross is made in relief - four-winged, one wing long and narrow; the upper three equal, triangular and broad. On the other wall - also in relief - a shepherd's gag. On the third wall an inscription with a date. The fourth wall is empty. Dimensions of the monument: 63x28x28 cm. Sketched on 14. Iv. 1917 (t. 7, obr. 43. ). Date: 14 April 1917.
