Middle trade rows in kitai-gorod, moscow. Photographs taken in 1886, prior to the enactment of an ordinance that condemned the whole area to demolition. Middle trade rows, built by joseph bove in 1810s, were demolished by 1888, and soon replaced by a new and larger shopping building designed by roman klein.
