Apollo 8 hasselblad image from film magazine 16/a - trans-lunar coast, lunar orbit. Part of this photo was used in figure 2-17 (b) of the analysis of apollo 8 photography and visual observations (sp-201), which has the following caption:
crater interiors. (a) the crater humboldt (apollo 8 frame 2193-d); (b) the crater langrenus (apollo 8 frame 2615-a). The text of the analysis refers to the figure as follows:
color photographs of the crater langrenus (magazine a) show that the crater wall is terraced and that the terraces are partly covered by mass-wasted material which moved downslope along the walls (fig. 2-17(b)). Much of this material covered the northern portion of the crater floor.
