The draftsman stood at the eastern end of the blaak. In the foreground a jetty. Further on at the quay of the noordblaak (right) moored ships. A few houses on the quay that were related to the rotating services that drain from the noordblaak. On the left the zuidblaak with the green dome of the lutheran church on the wolfshoek further on.
