Central stained glass window in the choir designed by józef mehoffer (1918-1922), subsequently executed by kirsch & fleckner and installed in 1926. The head of god the father is depicted centrally. Its significance is emphasised by the enlarged dimension and the accompanying inscription in french. Je suis celui qui suis (i am who i am). Instead of hair, stars shine, paired with suns and moons, symbolising the entire universe surrounded by green circle segments. The lower segment shows a representation from the old testament: next to the burning bush with the red roses are the lamb on the left and the ram on the right. The head of the creator forms a triangulum as a symbol of the trinity. In addition, there is the symbol of three crowns of the same size and decorated with precious stones. The lower part of the window is obscured by the high altar in front of it. Object Type: painting. Date: between 1918 and 1922. Place of creation: en:Fribourg, Switzerland.
