4th of parsloes manor, who succeeded to the tithe of fanshawe on the death of his father john fanshawe (1662–1699). Thomas fanshawe married frances clerke (d. 1725), daughter of rev. William clerke of thame. Their daughter frances fanshawe (1720-1795) married rev. Abraham blackborne d. D. (1739-1797), vicar of hampton (middlesex) and dagenham, and son of abraham blackborne esq.
