Reproduction of a lost wall painting of a man in peasant clothes, which was in a farmhouse on hovby manor in östergötland. The original painting, which according to tradition should have been a contemporary portrait of the rebel leader nils dacke, was destroyed when the house was rebuilt in the 19th century. This image of the painting was made by folklorist nils månsson mandelgren when he visited the manor in 1847. Date: 1847.
