The feast of the gods by frans francken the younger (ii) [1581–1642], ca. First half of the 17th century ce. Signed center below (on rock) d°ffranck lower left; an old inventory number ‘9’. Oil on copper, 69 x 51cm. Although the source website titled this painting, "the feast of the gods, with the triumph of neptune and amphitrite" i believe this is erroneous as there is another painting titled "the triumph of neptune and amphitrite". This appears to be the feast of the gods at the wedding of peleus and thetis. Date: First half of the 17th century CE.
