Garcia de' Medici, Bronzino, circa 1550

A half-length figure of garcía of medici (1547-1562), third son of the grand duke of tuscany, cosme i of medici (1519-1474), and his wife, leonor of toledo (ca. 1522 - 1562). The boy is portrayed at the age of three or four on a neutral background. In his right hand he holds an orange blossom and in the left, a small jewel like an amulet. Object Type: painting.
