Jenő gyulai gaál (pécs, 1838 – 1884) was the first commander of the austro-hungarian danube flotilla. In 1877 he was a squadron captain (major), and in 1881 he was a frigate captain (lieutenant colonel). He successfully took part in commercial and war sea actions. In 1881, the king appointed him chief of the second class of the navy. Date: 1882.
