Portrait of yi sang-gil (1556 ~ 1637). After serving as a professor at the ministry of education in 1585, he served as a peacekeeping auditor. This portrait is 93 cm in width and 185 cm in height and depicts sitting on a chair. The head is worn with a low-profile, red-colored uniform, and both hands are not visible in the sleeve. This posture is a feature that appears in the mid-joseon portrait. However, it seems that the method of expressing the contour of the face with a different concentration is redrawn in later generations by the technique shown in the late joseon period.
