(a) the crater humboldt (apollo 8 frame 2193-d); (b) the crater langrenus (apollo 8 frame 2615-a). The text of the analysis refers to the figure as follows: color photographs of the crater langrenus (magazine a) show that the crater wall is terraced and that the terraces are partly covered by mass-wasted material which moved downslope along the walls (fig. 2-17(b)).
