read hoffbauer (cf. Card07924), pl. Iii, 9th delivery, texts by l. M. Tisserand, lithograph by p. Benoist. See the plan by bernard in 1713 and i. Silvestre. The tour du bois disappeared (1670), a terrace replaced rue des tuileries; bridge completed in 1688, a year later the quay. Le vau enlarged and remodeled the wings and pavilions of the palace (1653-67) of de l'orme: creation of that of the theater with the vigarani (1659-62) for the young louis xiv, then the marsan on the model of the flore (1666); with orbay, the centrale loses its staircase, quadrangular dome. Apogee of the aristocratic district of the two palaces in 1635-65 (see hôtel de rambouillet), it disappeared in the middle of the 19th century. Louis xiv left for versailles in 1672. Cf. Y. Christ, 1949, p. 63-65, p. 73; j. C. Daufresne, 1986, p. 14-15; j. Hillairet (cf. Card03333), t. 1, p. 275-6; g. Bresc-bautier, 2001, p. 44-ff.;j. Van deputte, 1994, p. 158-162.
