Iconographic description: behind the bars of four jails stand prisoners with human silhouettes and animal heads. In the one on the left, the most luxurious with its furniture and widely spaced bars, there are four people, all richly dressed. Three of them are seated drinking champagne: a cat-headed woman, a pig man and a fox man. A man with a mouse's head reads "a drama in 7 acts". In the second prison, lined with straw and with tighter bars, six prisoners are piled up, one of whom with the head of a sawfish is trying to unhinge a bar. The others, monkeys, owls, goats, stand huddled up. The third cell, reinforced with horizontal bars, contains two chained prisoners, two tiger men. Finally, the fourth and last cell is occupied by a bear man wearing a muzzle and a tied eagle man, at their feet are objects such as: a songbook, a world map. The bars of their jail form a tight mesh.
