The man with a broken nose, by auguste rodin (1840-1917). Marble bust, carved in 1875 by léon fourquet, rodin's assistant. This bust is the portrait of a poor man from the neighborhood where rodin lived, and known under the name of bibi; it was exhibited at the salon of 1875 (while the first plaster version, now cast in bronze, had been refused in 1865).
