Vi. 42. My dear mum! thank you very much for your lovely letter which i received today. The roses made you happy. I also received such a lovely card by chance. Yes, now i am back in braunschweig but i am doing very well. As i said, i am going to the factory and having a good time here. On saturday i was again in wahle with a comrade at ehlers. They were very happy to receive your card and thanked you for it. I stayed overnight there and had a very good meal again. Date: 16 June 1942.
