A winter view painted by albert edelfelt from the window of his apartment on rahapajankatu in katajanokka, helsinki, towards eteläsatama, kaivopuisto in the background. The painting was later owned by e. G. Finnish state secretary's office in st. Petersburg. Kansallis-osake-pankki bought it in 1969 and today it belongs to the collections of taidesäätiö merita. The year 1888 is incorrect in the lower left corner of the work, but it was actually painted in january 1898. Object Type: painting. Date: 1898.
