It was repeated and copied many times. A similar portrait was in the romanov gallery of the winter palace. A full-length portrait of alexander i by d. Dou (1826), from the collection of the german emperor, was on display in 1913 in breslau at the exhibition "in memory of the 100th anniversary of the liberation war" (see: starye gody, 1913, no. 7-9, p. 234).
