1876. Plan voor uitbreiding en verbouwing van het Binnenhof, Den Haag, Eduard Isaac Asser, 1876
In 1876 the dutchman eduard asser (1809-1894) created a photolithograph of an expansion- and renovation plan for the parliament buildings in the hague. The unknown designer of that plan tried to fit within the existing buildings, as fargoing as possible, aiming to create a more uniform ensemble a final result. He left the 13th-century knight's hall and the 17th-century mauritshuis untoughed, but also spared the 18th-century buildings of the lower house and the 17th-century hall of the senate. At some places he only added a spire to give the whole a more coherent character. Date: 1876.
