Inspecţia generalului ("the general's inspection"), cartoon and wine advertisement in the romanian satirical sheet furnica. A dark-faced and tattered gypsy recruit is questioned by a romanian general. I'ascultă, mă ţigane, cine-i comandantul regimentului? ("yo gypsy, listen here, who is the regimental commander?")don colonel, să trăiţi! ("yessir, the colonel, sir. ")mai superior decât colonelul, cunoşti vr'un grad? ("do you know of any rank that would be more superior than the colonel [sic]?")mai superior decât colonelul, e don ghinărar. ("more superior than the colonel, that would be the ge'eral. ")şi mai superior decât generalul, cine-i mă cioară? ("and more superior than the general, who would that be, darkie?")vinul ştirbey!. C'aşà am auzit pe don sulocotenent că'i spunea lui don locotenent când îi face cinste la cantină: că vinul ştirbey e hăl mai superior dă pă pământ! ("ştirbey wine!.
