The collège des grassins was one of ten major schools comprising the université de paris. It was built in the late sixteenth century and partially destroyed during the revolution, and was closed shortly after. As illustrated here, only its ruins remained by 1850, including the remnants of the chapel. Date: between 1875 and 1882. Dimensions: 10.7 x 7.4 cm. Medium: lithograph.
