The work represents the moment in which the arrest of fernando de valenzuela (1636-1692), first marquis of villasierra and confidant of queen mariana of austria, was ordered, who in 1677 was arrested by order of juan josé of austria in the escorial monastery and sentenced to 10 years of exile in the philippine islands, although he died in mexico in 1692.
