The state tretyakov gallery holds a portrait of i. G. Davydov, painted by his friend i. A. Kabanov (1823–1869). On the back of the canvas is the inscription: “portrait of i. G. Davydov, who died in rome on december 6, 1856, at the age of 31 from consumption, painted by the artist kabanov. ”. Date: 1856.
