The head is in the upper left corner. It is turned toward the right, and shown in profile. The beard is floating horizontally. Below: the horse is shown from the left back, galloping toward the left. It stands upon the hind legs and turns the head toward the spectator. The rider in classical attire has a head similar to the upper one. Date: circa 1650.
