Robert batty (14 december 1763 kirkby lonsdale, westmorland - 16 november 1849 fairlight lodge, hastings, east sussex) by william daniell, after george dance, soft-ground etching, published 15 august 1810 note: batty was an obstetric physician also amateur artist, exhibiting at the royal academy between 1788 and 1797.
