Alajos hauszmann's tender plan for the country house. The parliament created a law on the construction of the parliament building: act lviii of 1880. Tv. On the basis of which a design tender was announced in 1881. The application deadline expired on february 1, 1883, by which time nineteen designs had been received. Based on the evaluation, the four equal awards set were awarded to "constitution i. " (imre steindl), "patres conscripti" (alajos hauszmann), "constitution ii. " (albert schickedanz and vilmos freund) and "scti. "stephani regis" (otto wagner et al. ) was awarded to designs. Finally, imre steindl's neo-gothic design was realized. Date: 1883.
