Ivan Enchev-Vidyu Bulgarian Folk Crosses 247, 17 April 1917

247. Cross - tombstone, in the cemetery of the church "st. Georgi" in the city of ruse. Carved in 1879 from loose white limestone. Its side wings are small and square, the lower one is large, with zigzag contours, the upper one is double - half round, half trapezoidal, which means that a man and a woman are buried under this monument. A four-winged cross is carved in the middle of the face, the vertical wings of which are slightly longer than the other two. The face is dug out, so the inscription is illegible. Dimensions: 83x44x15 cm. Sketched on 17. Iv. 1917. (vol. 6, obr. 8. ). Date: 17 April 1917.
