Sheet 6 (7) of fifteen views and plans bound in blue paperback of the palace in potsdam with the pheasant garden, originally built as a country and hunting residence for elector friedrich wilhelm. From 1680 onwards, the preferred residence of the electoral couple and expanded into a secondary residence. Earliest depictions of the palace and gardens newly laid out from 1660 onwards. Memhardt's templates were used more for a courtly, representative engraving than for precise construction documentation.
