Queen sophie amalie is about to enter her chamber during a visit at jungshoved castle. Her admirer captain kai lykke has taken the place of the guard to the queens amusement. The two ladies at the left are a lady-in-waiting with a candlestick and else parsberg, the lady of the castle. Else parsberg (1624-1684), queen sophie amalie (1628-1685) and kai lykke (1625-1699) were real persons but the story is fiction. Date: Original illustration from the 1890s, here reprint from 1909..
