Description first fishing gate on the vijgendam the vijgendam, seen towards the town hall. On the right is the kleine vispoort. Sketch drawing in pencil, enhanced with pen and watercolor in pink, gray, gray-blue and light brown. Especially on the right side of the image, an unusual number of auxiliary construction lines can be seen for schouten. A detailed version of this drawing can be found in the splitgerber collection (inv. No. Spl. 648, image no. 010001000768). The city hall is shown much larger. The archive also has an anonymous copy of the sketch drawing (inv. No. K 130-23, image no. 010097005374). The drawing was previously wrongly attributed to gerrit lamberts.
