Octogonal bowl with alternating wide and narrow edges; flat rim with raised lip. Decorated in underglaze blue, green and red enamel and gold; the lip in brown. On the wide edges flowering plants; on the narrow edges stylised flower motifs. On the inner edge two dragons and cloud motifs. Date: between 1680 and 1700. Place of creation: Japan. Dimensions: height: 7 cm (2.7 in); diameter: 11.5 cm (4.5 in). Medium: ceramic, enamel, gold, porcelain. Collection: Rijksmuseum.
