Basil of Caesarea, Fernão Muñoz, between 1510 and 1515

Commissioned by king d. Manuel i, olivier de gand created the canopies and the stalls (which have now disappeared) in the gothic style. Assisted by fernão munñoz, they sculpted, in polychrome wood, gilded, the statues of the prophets of the old testament, the saints and the doctors of the church placed on the capitals.
