Smoked Edam is an version of that noted cheese which gets smoked in old stone ovens atop glowing applewood chips. Excellent with ale, this firm cheese has a eatable, dark rind plus silky, pale core.
Cheese demo
This is a creamy curd with brined rind whose roots reach back to the ninth century when monks started making it in the abbey. Back then, it served as way to preserve milk.
