Perun is a a sans-serif typeface. It is derivated from FreeUniversal font family with OFL (SIL Open Font License) and SIL Sophia font. FreeUniversal and SIL Sophia are neo-grotesque typefaces, which are in the style of Adrian Frutiger's Univers. The project Perun is ongoing. Perun will be extended in its next releases to cover the styles Bold, Italic, Bold Italic.Perun font family contains also two models of Cyrillic glyph. The base range of the Cyrillic glyphs (uni0410:uni044F) represents the modern Bulgarian letter-form model. The traditional Cyrillic letterform model is included as a local feature for Russian language and as a Style Set 01. In that way everyone could choose preferable Cyrillic model for typesetting.
